Light as air
Delicate, ethereal designs crafted with nature’s finest materials.

In a hamlet quaint, where colors brightly gleamed,
A feline friend, named Purr, his nature deemed.
A curious soul, who loved to roam and stray,
He chanced upon a garden, fair and gay.

Within this garden, flowers did abound,
A sight so lovely, nowhere else was found.
Amongst them all, a purple blossom stood,
A violet, so sweet, a fragrant wood.

With gentle purrs, they struck a friendship deep,
The cat and flower, their secrets would keep.
The violet spoke of garden’s life so sweet,
Of sun and rain, a most delightful treat.
And Purr would tell of adventures far and wide,
Beyond the garden, where he’d often hide.

One day, the cat returned, with heart quite sore,
To find his friend, so sad, and ailing sore.
“Oh, Purr,” he sighed, “my petals soon will fall,
And seeds I’ll bear, to answer nature’s call.”

The cat was grieved, to lose his dearest friend,
And vowed to cherish memories without end.
He gathered seeds, and planted them with care,
In a small pot, he’d placed upon his chair.

And so, new violets bloomed, a sight to see,
As Purr would tend them, happily and free.
With whispered words, he’d soothe their tiny hearts,
And feel his friend, reborn, in all their parts.
